The City Council meeting of May 1, 2022 had an Agenda Item (5E) on it that was requested by a citizen (Mr. George Baroody) that dealt with the citiy's Ethics Policy as it related to comments made by the Mayor at the April 12, 2022 Council meeting Citizens Forum.

That Agenda Item generated much discussion from the requestor, Council and public in attendance at that meeting.

But. Towards the end of the discussions, after Mr. Baroody has left the Council chambers, when Councilmember Garcia (far left) was making his closing statements on the Agenda Item, the reaction of the other Councilmembers was most interesting. And, as the old saying goes, "Actions speak louder than words."
